What we do

University Scholarships

The Association Philippe Jabre offers university scholarships and financial support to students studying towards a bachelor’s degree in Lebanon and post-graduate university degrees in Lebanon and abroad.

Overview

Objectives
  • To help young Lebanese build their future by giving them the means to do so.
  • To strengthen the spirit of solidarity and to bring together a group of people committed towards the betterment of society.
Candidates
  • Students accepted to study at a leading university for a bachelor’s degree in Lebanon, or a post-graduate programme in Lebanon or exceptionally abroad.
  • Very high academic track record.
  • A difficult financial and socio-economic situation of the candidate and their family which prevents them from achieving academic and life goals.

Scholarships are awarded for a one-year period and are subsequently reviewed by the APJ.

Grants are awarded as a loan at 0% interest. In return, students agree to reimburse APJ within the period of 5 to 7 years after graduation.
